Upcoming shows with Christina Martin

Happy October! It’s been a busy fall for us at the ECSQ - Emily and Mark have been traveling quite a bit with their band Pallmer (they were in Germany, Montreal and PEI!), and Victor and Mercedes have been setting up the school year at Sistema Fredericton. Despite all the running around, we’ve been sneaking in rehearsals for our first show of the season, and it’s going to be a doozy! We’re excited to perform Haydn, Shaw & Smetana October 16-27th. Tickets are on sale now - we’ll be in touch next week with more information about the program, but in the meantime —

We’re pleased to be joining Christina Martin on her NB Tour Oct 4-6th

Christina is a NS-based singer-songwriter originally from Fredericton! We’re joining her in support of her new album, Storm.  This show isn’t part of our ECSQ 2024-25 season, but we wanted to pass along some information about the tour, since we think it will be a special show!

You can check out her album here:

About Christina
Christina Martin is an award-winning powerhouse musician, songsmith, and performer hailing from the windswept East Coast of Canada. Her music dances effortlessly through Pop, Rock, Folk and Americana traditions but stays deftly unchained by any one label, unafraid to venture into stranger waters. From her Austin-inflected 2002 debut Pretty Things, to the sweeping cinematic dreamscape of 2018’s Impossible to Hold, Martin is an artist who is constantly shifting, and constantly evolving. And like all her material, latest album Storm boasts a backbone of raw honesty about the human condition. Be they personal confessions or narrative tales, each song is lovingly crafted, and hits in the heart like a well-thrown punch. With a string-drenched new album and a run of iconic award winning music videos available in 2023, this is an album, and a tour, not to be missed.
